Development practice
The company keeps a detailed changelog of every version of the platform, together with a one-line public summary of each, and cuts a versioned archive for each release. Product photographs are archived separately from the source, since already-compressed images do not compress further and were doubling the size of every backup. Development is documented in the plain-language style of the company's release notes, which record faults found and fixed as well as features added.
